‘My Friends and Me Learning Den’ and the ‘Comfy Cozy Calm-Down Cove’

Program can be for either for parents or early childhood educators and specialists.

 My Friends and Me Learning Den – Participants will learn how to create an area for social-emotional learning the fun way.  Laminated poster included makes it portable if necessary to move around the classroom.  Topical areas of Social – Emotional Learning in the Den include: caring, sharing, manners and feelings. Materials provided for this training include:  complete Learning Den Toolkit with books, stories, new posters for play and matching activities (farm, colors, and weather) and social-emotional toys.  Complete Toolkit provided for up to 3 classrooms as a part of the training. 

Comfy Cozy Calm Down Cove – Participants will learn how to create a calm-down zone (safe space) where children go to sooth themselves, calm down, and practice self-control. The space is also an area of learning to teach self-regulation skills as situations arise. Time to Sign will provide a complete Comfy Cozy Calm-Down Cove toolkit with topical areas of learning including: books, emotions games, music, and more.  Toolkit provided up to 3 classrooms as a part of the training.
